Two Ways to Buy

Cleaned & Serviced — deep-cleaned and mechanically serviced, with worn parts replaced as needed. Cosmetics are not addressed — no touch-up or repaint — so expect honest blemishes and wear. 30-day parts-and-labor warranty.

Remanufactured — repainted, worn parts replaced with new, and made mechanically sound. Our highest condition standard. 90-day parts-and-labor warranty.

Product Description

The Cybex Back Extension’s pelvic stabilization system utilizes adjustable foot brace which allows the user to “lock into” the hip pad, causing hip extensor engagement for optimal pelvic stabilization. The lumbar level axis of rotation promotes the use of the lower back (spinal erectors) as the prime movers. Starting positions provided every 10°. From small to tall without getting off the machine. The adjustable footbar accommodates user height variation and allows adjustment from the seated position. Lumbar extension – but not too much. The Cybex design promotes proper and controlled movement into extension. Curved lumbar pad encourages lumbar extension/flexion while minimizing the possibility of excessive extension. Cybex unique technology adjusts the machine to the user rather than the user to the machine. Regardless of the starting position selected, the cam remains synchronized with each individual user. RLD (Range Limiting Device) varies the leverage to maintain the correct level of force throughout the range of motion while taking into account each user’s limits and abilities. Start RLD (adjustable start only) provides start positions every 10 degrees. Total RLD (adjustable start and finish) provides start and end positions every 10 degrees. VR3 offers Start RLD and Total RLD as optional features.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who services the equipment after I buy it?

Our sister company On Site Fitness Service runs dedicated repair and preventive-maintenance programs. Ask about a service plan when you request your quote, especially for a space nobody is watching day to day.

Does picking it up myself affect the warranty?

Yes — equipment you pick up from our warehouse yourself carries no warranty, regardless of condition tier. By taking pickup you're confirming you inspected it and accepted it in its current condition. Warranty coverage applies only to equipment we deliver. See our Terms and Conditions for the full policy.

What if the model I want isn't currently listed?

Ask us to source it. If it's not in current listings we can go find it, the same way we do for Dealer Program buyers hunting a specific brand or model.

Can I sell my equipment to you outright, or on consignment, instead of trading it in?

Yes to both — we buy equipment outright for cash, and also work on consignment. That's separate from a trade-in credited toward a purchase; ask when you contact us which option fits what you're after.

Do I get a warranty on used equipment?

It depends on the condition tier. As-Is equipment carries no warranty and is sold at its stated condition. Cleaned & Serviced includes a 30-day parts-and-labor warranty. Remanufactured includes a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

Which condition tier should I choose?

It depends on the tradeoff you care about: Cleaned & Serviced if function per dollar matters most — it arrives mechanically serviced but keeps its cosmetic wear, since touch-up isn't included in that tier. Remanufactured if appearance matters too — repainted, worn parts replaced with new, made mechanically sound. Tell us the use case when you request a quote and we'll recommend one rather than leave it to guesswork.
