One team, before and after the sale
Service & Maintenance
The same technicians who service our inventory can service yours.
Every Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured listing already passes through our service process before it ships. For ongoing maintenance after you buy, our sister company On Site Fitness Service runs dedicated repair and preventive-maintenance programs. Discount Online Fitness has bought, serviced, and resold commercial gym equipment since 2012, working nationwide from our DFW Airport, Texas warehouse.
That's the same team either way — the pre-sale inspection your equipment already went through, and the post-sale maintenance plan, aren't two different vendors improvising the same claim. Ask about a service plan when you request your quote, especially for an unattended space (a hotel or hospitality gym) where nobody on staff is watching for wear.
How it works
Getting service & maintenance done
Before the sale
Every Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured unit is inspected and serviced before it ships — that's already built into the listing.
After the sale
Ask about an ongoing service plan when you request your quote.
On Site Fitness Service runs it
The group's dedicated repair and preventive-maintenance business, not a subcontracted afterthought.
What preventive maintenance actually covers
Commercial cardio lives or dies on the boring stuff: treadmill decks and belts checked and lubricated before they burn a motor, drive belts tensioned, consoles and safety keys tested, ellipticals and bikes cleaned out and calibrated, strength stations checked for cable wear, loose hardware and upholstery damage. A preventive-maintenance visit works that list on a schedule, which is what keeps a $5,000 machine from becoming a $700 repair — or a liability. Unattended spaces need this most: in a hotel or apartment gym, the first person to notice a fraying cable should be a technician, not a guest.
The same hands before and after the sale
Every Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured machine we sell already went through our technicians — inspection, service, and for Remanufactured units, new wear parts and a rebuilt finish. On Site Fitness Service, the group's dedicated repair and maintenance company, carries that same work forward after the sale with repair calls and scheduled PM programs. One group, one standard, from the warehouse floor to your floor.
The service guide
What service before the sale and maintenance after it actually cover
Every Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured machine we sell has already been through our technicians before it ships — inspection, deep clean, mechanical service, and for Remanufactured units new wear parts and a rebuilt finish. After the sale, the same standard carries forward through our sister company On Site Fitness Service, which runs scheduled preventive maintenance and repair for clubs, properties, hotels and homes across Texas. One group, one standard, from the warehouse floor to yours.
Below is what a service pass and a maintenance visit actually do, how the need differs between a home machine and a club floor, the equipment where maintenance matters most, how a plan is priced, and the one thing about repairs nobody in this industry likes to say out loud: parts are not stocked, so most repairs take two visits.
In detail
What a service pass actually covers
The boring list that keeps a $5,000 machine from becoming a $700 repair — or a liability.
Treadmills: deck, belt, rollers, motor
Decks and belts checked and lubricated before they burn a motor, walking belts tracked and tensioned, rollers and drive belts checked, incline tested, consoles and safety keys verified. On a Remanufactured unit the wear parts are replaced new.
Ellipticals and bikes: clean, calibrate, tension
Cleaned out, pivots lubricated, resistance and consoles calibrated, pedals and arms checked for play, self-powered generators tested.
Strength: cables, pulleys, upholstery, hardware
Cables inspected for fray and replaced, pulleys and guide rods checked, weight stacks and pins tested, loose hardware torqued, upholstery repaired — the items that give no warning before they fail.
Stair climbers: the pieces under load
Chains, steps, springs and cables carry a user’s full body weight and give no warning; they are inspected on every pass.
The pre-sale standard
Cleaned & Serviced: deep-cleaned and mechanically serviced with worn parts replaced as needed, cosmetics not addressed, 30-day parts-and-labor warranty. Remanufactured: repainted, worn parts replaced with new, 90-day warranty. Both are inspected before shipping.
Repairs take two visits, usually
Nobody in this industry stocks parts for every machine. The first visit identifies the exact part so it is ordered once rather than guessed at; the second installs it. Getting a technician out early is what shortens the timeline.
By facility type
How much maintenance a room needs
The interval is set by how hard the room is used, not by the calendar.
The home machine
Low hours, garage or spare room
One household, a machine that may sit unused for months.
- Repair when needed is reasonable — the hours are low
- The exception: anything with a cable under load, which gives no warning
- A waxed deck, a tensioned belt and a clean interior once a year
- In-home service so the machine never has to be moved
Condition tier: A single maintenance visit costs far less than the motor a dry deck destroys.
The unattended room
Amenity, hotel, HOA, corporate
Nobody watching for wear; a fault reported by whoever complains first.
- A scheduled plan priced per cardio and strength piece
- A machine-by-machine written report a board or GM can file
- Belts and cables caught before they become decks and injuries
- Portfolio pricing across several properties
Condition tier: A plan is worth more here than anywhere: it converts an unpredictable repair bill into a known annual number.
The club floor
Member-facing, all day, every day
Machines that log more hours in a month than a home machine does in a year.
- The shortest interval — busy floors justify it
- Every machine on its own checklist at the top plan tier
- Deck waxing and internal cleaning on the mid tier
- Written records that show a member-injury question was answered before it was asked
Condition tier: For clubs the question is availability, not cost: a row of out-of-order signs is a retention problem first.

What you get
How a plan is set up
Ask about a service plan when you request the equipment quote, especially for a space nobody watches day to day.
- 1
Count the floor
Plans are priced on the number of cardio and strength pieces, with the interval set by how hard the room is used. A busy club floor is visited more often than an HOA room.
Request a quote → - 2
Pick the tier of attention
From an inspection round, to one that adds deck waxing and internal cleaning, to every machine on its own checklist — On Site Fitness Service’s plan tiers.
Hotel fitness centers → - 3
Get the written record
A machine-by-machine report at every visit — what a board files, what a GM shows a brand auditor, and what answers the question after a member is hurt: was it inspected, was it maintained, is there a record.
Warranties → - 4
Repairs between visits
Warranty and non-warranty repair with OEM parts wherever the manufacturer supplies them; first visit diagnoses and orders the exact part, second installs it.
How equipment ages →
Avoid these
The maintenance mistakes that become expensive
Each of these is a small fault left alone.
A dry deck
The most common expensive failure: an unlubricated deck burns a motor. A waxed deck costs almost nothing.
Waiting for the cable to fail
Strength cables give no warning. They are inspected, not reacted to.
No plan in an unattended room
Nobody notices the slipping belt until it is a worn deck. Schedule it.
No written record
After an injury the questions are whether it was inspected and maintained, and whether you can prove it.
Expecting a one-visit repair
Parts are not stocked in this industry. The first visit is diagnosis; get it booked early.
Why we can say this
On Site Fitness Service is the group’s dedicated repair and preventive-maintenance business, servicing clubs, properties, hotels and homes across Texas with factory-trained technicians — the same standard our own inventory passes through before it ships. The plan tiers and the two-visit reality above are its own.
In short
Every listing is inspected and serviced before it ships; sister company On Site Fitness Service runs ongoing repair and preventive maintenance after you buy — the same real team, not two vendors improvising the same claim.
