Equipment Consultation

Tell us your goals and budget — we'll point you to the right machines.

Every quote request starts as a conversation, not just a checkout. Tell us what you're training for, how many users, and your budget, and we'll recommend real in-stock equipment — including which condition tier makes sense — instead of just upselling the newest thing. Discount Online Fitness has bought, serviced, and resold commercial gym equipment since 2012, working nationwide from our DFW Airport, Texas warehouse.

We do this for a home gym buyer and a 50-station health club floor the same way: real inventory, matched to a real budget. That includes steering you toward Cleaned & Serviced when the cost matters more than cosmetics, or Remanufactured when appearance matters too — the tier decision is part of the consultation, not an upsell after the fact.

How it works

Getting equipment consultation done

1

Tell us the real brief

What you're training for, how many people will use it, and the budget you're actually working with.

2

We match real inventory to it

Specific in-stock machines, not a category — plus a recommendation on Cleaned & Serviced vs. Remanufactured based on how it'll actually be used.

3

You get a quote, not a pitch

If a cheaper tier genuinely serves you better, that's what we recommend — not the higher-margin option.

The condition tier is the real decision

Most machines on this site sell in two tiers with two real prices: Cleaned & Serviced — inspected, deep-cleaned, mechanically serviced, honest cosmetic wear — and Remanufactured, rebuilt with new wear parts and a repainted frame — our highest condition standard. Which one is right depends on where it's going. A staffed gym floor where members expect a showroom look leans Remanufactured; an apartment amenity room, a garage gym, or a back-of-house training space usually gets more equipment for the same budget at Cleaned & Serviced. We'll tell you which way we'd go for your specific room, and why.

Used commercial beats new home-grade at the same money

The comparison most buyers are actually making isn't used-versus-new commercial — it's used commercial versus new consumer-grade at a similar price. Commercial machines are built for hours of daily use: heavier frames, serviceable motors and belts, replaceable wear parts. A consumer treadmill at the same price is built for one household and is often unrepairable when a board fails. Our consultation starts from that premise — what's the duty cycle this equipment will actually see — and matches the machine to it.

In short

Equipment Consultation matches real in-stock inventory to your actual training goals, user count and budget — including an honest condition-tier recommendation, whether you're a home-gym buyer or a 50-station health club floor.

Individual buyers and health clubs are DOF's two largest customer groups, each quoted this same way.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured?

Cleaned & Serviced means the machine is deep-cleaned and its moving and wear components are inspected, lubricated, or replaced as needed. Cosmetic condition is not addressed — no repainting or touch-up is included, so expect honest blemishes, wear, and scratches. Remanufactured means the machine is repainted, worn components are replaced with new parts, and it is made mechanically sound — our highest condition standard, though still pre-owned equipment. Warranty follows the tier: 30-day parts-and-labor on Cleaned & Serviced, 90-day on Remanufactured.

Which condition tier should I choose?

It depends on the tradeoff you care about: Cleaned & Serviced if function per dollar matters most — it arrives mechanically serviced but keeps its cosmetic wear, since touch-up isn't included in that tier. Remanufactured if appearance matters too — repainted, worn parts replaced with new, made mechanically sound. Tell us the use case when you request a quote and we'll recommend one rather than leave it to guesswork.

Do I get a warranty on used equipment?

It depends on the condition tier. As-Is equipment carries no warranty and is sold at its stated condition. Cleaned & Serviced includes a 30-day parts-and-labor warranty. Remanufactured includes a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.
