A North Texas gym chain has come back to DOF across at least 2 of its locations as it's grown — not a single sale, but an ongoing relationship spanning new equipment, condition-tier upgrades, and the unglamorous work of swapping out what's worn out.
When a gym chain is opening or refreshing more than one location, the equipment relationship matters more than any single order. This chain has worked with DOF across at least two of its locations, and the two visits look nothing alike — which is exactly the point.
At one location, the job was a full StairMaster Gauntlet installation — a serious piece of cardio equipment carrying a manufacturer suggested price near $3,900 new, delivered and installed at a real discount off that. The same visit also handled extraction of an older Precor Icarian machine being retired, so the floor was ready the same day rather than sitting with a gap where old equipment used to be.
At the other location, the scope was different again: real electrical-circuit requirements were called out ahead of delivery for the treadmills going in — the kind of detail that avoids a truck showing up to a space that isn't actually ready for 110V equipment. That is the coordination DOF handles as a matter of course on every delivery, not just this one.
Fit Supply's own install crews handled the physical work — the same cross-company arrangement DOF uses whenever a job needs hands on-site, not just a truck at the curb (see Services). The chain didn't have to coordinate two vendors; DOF quoted and sold the equipment, and the install happened without a second phone call.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured?
Cleaned & Serviced means the machine is deep-cleaned and its moving and wear components are inspected, lubricated, or replaced as needed. Cosmetic condition is not addressed — no repainting or touch-up is included, so expect honest blemishes, wear, and scratches. Remanufactured means the machine is repainted, worn components are replaced with new parts, and it is made mechanically sound — our highest condition standard, though still pre-owned equipment. Warranty follows the tier: 30-day parts-and-labor on Cleaned & Serviced, 90-day on Remanufactured.
Can you install it, not just deliver it?
For commercial jobs, yes — our sister company Fit Supply's install teams handle that nationally. Ask when you request your quote and we'll get you connected.
How is delivery priced?
This equipment is heavy and ships pre-assembled, so freight is quoted per order against your real delivery ZIP rather than a flat estimate. Tell us whether it's a home delivery (driveway, garage door, stairs) or a commercial one (loading dock, elevator, freight-hours access) — the two are quoted differently.
Can I sell my equipment to you outright, or on consignment, instead of trading it in?
Yes to both — we buy equipment outright for cash, and also work on consignment. That's separate from a trade-in credited toward a purchase; ask when you contact us which option fits what you're after.
