A Plano-Area Apartment Community's Full Amenity Gym Refresh
Cardio, strength, and racks — a real mixed build-out, not a single machine
A property management company handling a Plano-area apartment community came to DOF for a genuine mixed amenity-gym build-out — not one machine, a real floor plan's worth of equipment: 4 cardio machines, 4 strength stations, and a full dumbbell run with benches between them.
Apartment amenity gyms live or die on variety — residents expect a real cardio lineup, real strength options, and someplace to put the dumbbells that isn't just a pile on the floor. This build-out covered all three.
On the cardio side: two True touchscreen treadmills, a True touchscreen recumbent bike (all Cleaned & Serviced tier), and a Precor lower-body elliptical, set in a row along the amenity room's floor-to-ceiling windows — a real spread of cardio modalities rather than three treadmills in a row.
On the strength side: a ProMaxima functional trainer against the mirror wall, a pair of selectorized Paramount stations — a lat pulldown/low-row and an overhead press — and a Hoist leg-extension/leg-curl combo machine, all Cleaned & Serviced — inspected, serviced, and backed by DOF's standard warranty for that tier, not sold as-is.
And the details that make an amenity gym actually usable day to day: a two-tier dumbbell rack with a full run of rubber round dumbbells, sold as-is since these are solid-metal pieces with nothing to service in the first place, plus a pair of adjustable TKO benches to use them on.
The whole order shipped as one coordinated delivery rather than piecemeal — the kind of single-vendor, single-delivery-window build-out a property manager actually wants when there's one amenity space to get right before residents move in.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured?
Cleaned & Serviced means the machine is deep-cleaned and its moving and wear components are inspected, lubricated, or replaced as needed. Cosmetic condition is not addressed — no repainting or touch-up is included, so expect honest blemishes, wear, and scratches. Remanufactured means the machine is repainted, worn components are replaced with new parts, and it is made mechanically sound — our highest condition standard, though still pre-owned equipment. Both tiers go through the same written 20-point inspection by our own technicians; the difference is how far each point is taken. Warranty follows the tier: 30-day parts-and-labor on Cleaned & Serviced, 90-day on Remanufactured.
How is delivery priced?
This equipment is heavy and ships pre-assembled, so freight is quoted per order against your real delivery ZIP rather than a flat estimate. Tell us whether it's a home delivery (driveway, garage door, stairs) or a commercial one (loading dock, elevator, freight-hours access) — the two are quoted differently.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum for a standard quote. Our Dealer Program is built specifically for volume buyers — gyms, resellers and facilities buying multiple units get a live inventory list to quote from directly, plus first look at new arrivals.
Do I get a warranty on used equipment?
It depends on the condition tier. As-Is equipment carries no warranty and is sold at its stated condition. Cleaned & Serviced includes a 30-day parts-and-labor warranty. Remanufactured includes a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.
