A Plano Martial Arts Academy's Full Training Floor

Six cardio machines, a ten-station strength circuit, and a free-weight zone — one order

A martial-arts academy in Plano needed a complete commercial gym floor, not a machine at a time — and bought the whole thing through DOF in a single order: 6 cardio machines on the front glass, a 10-station selectorized strength circuit, and the free-weight gear to go with it.

This order shipped in mid-2020 — the middle of the shutdown era, when most gyms were pausing plans, this one was building. When the doors opened, the floor was already done.

The cardio row sits where cardio should: along the floor-to-ceiling front glass. Three Matrix T7xe treadmills and three Precor EFX 835 ellipticals, all Cleaned & Serviced — inspected, deep-cleaned, and mechanically serviced — with extended parts-and-labor coverage added on all six machines at the time of sale.

The strength side is a ten-station Matrix G3 selectorized circuit — lat pulldown, leg extension, seated leg curl, and back extension among them — plus a Hoist Olympic flat bench and a pair of Hoist adjustable benches, all Cleaned & Serviced. Anchoring the middle of the floor: a Nautilus four-stack multi-jungle, bought new.

That mix is the point. The big-ticket machines came Cleaned & Serviced at a real discount; the pieces where used offers no advantage came new — 1,500 pounds of rubber tri-grip Olympic plates, three chrome Olympic bars with collars, and a six-size kettlebell run. Solid metal has nothing to service, so you buy it where the price is best.

Everything arrived as one coordinated business delivery and installation rather than a trickle of shipments — the academy dealt with one vendor, one timeline, one install.

The photos on this page are DOF's own install documentation from this job — the floor as the crew left it, not a staged marketing shoot.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Cleaned & Serviced and Remanufactured?

Cleaned & Serviced means the machine is deep-cleaned and its moving and wear components are inspected, lubricated, or replaced as needed. Cosmetic condition is not addressed — no repainting or touch-up is included, so expect honest blemishes, wear, and scratches. Remanufactured means the machine is repainted, worn components are replaced with new parts, and it is made mechanically sound — our highest condition standard, though still pre-owned equipment. Warranty follows the tier: 30-day parts-and-labor on Cleaned & Serviced, 90-day on Remanufactured.

Do I get a warranty on used equipment?

It depends on the condition tier. As-Is equipment carries no warranty and is sold at its stated condition. Cleaned & Serviced includes a 30-day parts-and-labor warranty. Remanufactured includes a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

How old is your used equipment?

Typically 3-5 years, though strength equipment can run 10+ years depending on condition. Age matters less than condition — a well-maintained older machine can outlast a newer one that saw harder use.

Can you install it, not just deliver it?

For commercial jobs, yes — our sister company Fit Supply's install teams handle that nationally. Ask when you request your quote and we'll get you connected.
