Why there is no flat shipping rate
A commercial treadmill or strength station ships as a heavy, largely assembled piece of freight — not a parcel. What it costs to move depends on where it is going and what is there when it arrives: a residential driveway with a garage door is one job, a commercial dock with freight hours is another, stairs are a third. That is why every order is quoted with your delivery ZIP and access details, and why home and commercial deliveries are scoped as different jobs. Delivery trucks are large — up to 12,000 pounds — so surfaces they must cross are part of the conversation too.
Curbside is the standard; inside is a service
The base freight quote delivers to the curb at your address. Inside placement, stair carries, and full installation — placed, leveled, tested where it will live — are real services with real costs, available in the areas our crews cover and quoted honestly up front. For commercial jobs, installation runs through the same group that services the equipment, and the pre-install checklist covers what the room needs first: dedicated treadmill circuits, final flooring down, a confirmed path from truck to room. The delivery-day inspection is your protection
Risk of loss passes when freight ships, which makes the moment of delivery the moment that matters: inspect every piece before accepting it, and if anything shows transit damage, note it with the carrier at delivery. Freight carriers run strict claim rules on their own timelines — not ours — and damage that goes unnoted at the truck is very hard to claim afterward. Two minutes of walking around the freight with the driver present is the cheapest insurance there is.
Actual freight insurance is the second layer: a purchasable add-on that covers the shipment in transit. On higher-value orders it is worth pricing into the quote — ask when you order, not after the truck is booked. The full terms live on our terms page.
Timing, storage, and the schedule
Payment on installed orders runs 50% down with the balance due at delivery, and shipped orders are paid before they ship — so the schedule is set once the room is ready, not before. If equipment has to be held past your install date, storage fees apply after ten days, which is really just a reason to sequence honestly: flooring and electrical first, then the truck. Tell us the real dates in your quote request and the logistics get planned around them.
International and pickup
We ship across the country, and international buyers are welcome with one difference: outside the US, you arrange your own freight carrier to collect from our dock, and export logistics are yours. Local buyers can also pick up directly from the Irving, Texas warehouse — worth considering for smaller orders where freight would be a large share of the total.
